Johnson leads the Pre-Qualifiers at The Berkshire
In perfect scoring conditions, amateur player, Felicity Johnson (England) took the lead on the Blue Course at The Berkshire Golf Club. Felicity birdied the second, sixth and ninth holes and eagled the par fifth hole to go out in 32. On the back nine she bogeyed the tenth and fifthteenth to come back in 38.Posting one-under scores of 71, Lora Fairclough (ENG) Lynn Kenny (SCO), Margherita Rigon (ITA), Anna Temple (USA) and Jenni Kuosa (FIN)
also marked their paths to the final qualifying stage of this year's Women's British Open.
Final qualifying will take place at St Annes Old Links on Monday 31st July 2006.
26 players and ties progressed to this next stage hoping to gain a place in the field at Royal Lytham St Annes in August.Full Scores
