Inkster Leads The Way
After shooting a 6 under par first round score, Inkster shot a steady level par round today in cool and damp conditions.Inkster said... “Very happy with the way I played today, the way I got it in, the way I got myself around this golf course. Tomorrow if I drive a little better on the par 5’s, I feel pretty good.”
Former Women’s British Open champion Karen Stupples is in the chasing pack after shooting a 3 under par 69 today. Stupples eagled the 16th after holing a 113 yard shot.
Silvia Cavalleri and Maria Hjorth are currently in joint second on three under par whilst World Number 1, Annika Sorenstam is five shots off the lead on level par with other top names including Laura Davis, Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis all in contention.
