Opening and Closing Ceremonies

The Vagliano Trophy 2007 opening and closing ceremonies' dates and times have now been confirmed.

The award winning Kingdom Brass band will be providing music, playing the National Anthems of GB & I and the Continent of Europe as the teams are presented and flags raised.

Kingdom Brass have been at the forefront of musical excellence, winning numerous awards, since their formation in 1999. Most notably, they were Scottish Ensemble Champions in 2001, and again in 2007. Based in central Fife, Kingdom have performed extensively across the UK (including performing in the Royal Albert Hall in London) as well as throughout Europe. The ceremonies will take place at the main entrance to the Fairmont St. Andrews at the following times:

Opening Ceremony and Morning Foursomes Pairing Announcements -
Thursday 26th July 6.00pm

Closing Ceremony and Trophy Presentation -
Saturday 28th July 6.00pm


(Please Note: The time of the closing ceremony is subject to change as it will take place at the close of play on the final days play.)
