Record entry for the 2006 Amateur Championship
A record number of entries for this year's Amateur Championship has resulted in the cut falling at 2.2. The top players worldwide will converge at The Royal County Down Golf Club, Ireland in June. The prestigious British Amateur title carries with it a full exemption to the Weetabix Women's British Open. The 2005 champion, Louise Stahle will not defend her title having moved successfully into the professional ranks.Check the Waiting List here
