England continue their impressive form at Frilford Heath
Day 2 Singles - FINAL RESULTEngland 5 Scotland 4

Rain delayed play for 45 minutes this morning.The afternon singles commenced at 1440hrs using a two tee start as Officials feared a lack of daylight. Scotland and England played from the first tee but the matches went to wire. Scotland won the afternoon singles but could not make up the ground from their morning foursomes defeat.
Wales made a remarkable come back in the afternoon singles, and won four of the six afternoon matches to hold Ireland to a draw.
Tomorrow's England Wales game will decide this year's Home International champions.
Day 2 Foursomes
England and Ireland won the morning foursomes at a rain soaked Frilford Heath. England enjoyed a clean sweep in the foursomes as all pair recorded convincing victories over Scotland. Notable results included Kerry Smith and Sophie Walker's 3 & 2 victory over Heather MacRae and Sally Watson while Rachel Bell and Naomi Edwards triumphed 3 & 1 over Jenna Wilson and Krystle Caithness.
Ireland also battled well against some strong Welsh pairings as wins from Danielle McVeigh & Maria Dunne and Deirdre Smith and Maura Morrin ensured a 2 point lead going into this afternoons singles.
