Q. Can we allocate a qualifying round to an existing fixture?
A. Yes you can. Alternatively, you may allocate a new date.

Q. What is the format for the qualifying round?
A. Your club may choose to play either stableford or medal with full handicap allowance.

Q. What is the format for the Regional Finals and Grand Final?
A. Both will be stableford with full handicap allowance.

Q. What is the handicap limit for the event?
A. There is no handicap limit. Any player with a CONGU UHS Handicap may enter.

Q. May Juniors play?
A. Juniors are actively encouraged to play. Any club which does not permit a junior with a CONGU UHS handicap to compete in a qualifying round shall not be allowed to forward a winner to the Regional Final.

Q. Can our club qualifying round be played over 2 days?
A. Yes it can.

Q. Where will the Regional Finals be played?
A. A list of Regional Finals can be found on the LGU web site at www.lgu.org and addresses are enclosed with this mailing.

Q. May our club winner choose which Regional Final she wishes to play in?
A. She may specify her top 3 preferred venues and every effort will be made to accommodate such requests.

Q. Who is running this event?
A. The LGU are administering all golfing aspects of the event and will have a member of the Championship Department in attendance at each Regional Final to administer scorecards and make any golf related decisions on the day in accordance with the Rules of Golf and the Conditions of Competition.

Q. Can a player other than the winner be sent to a Regional Final?
A. Yes they can. If the first placed qualifier is unable to make the Regional Final then the next placed player can be sent in their place and so on until a player is found.

Q. Why must we enter alternate Regional Final Venue choice?
A. You must enter an alternate choice of venue incase your 1st choice venue is fully subscribed so you can be allocated another Regional Final. SO GET YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY!!
