Scotland take charge after Day 1
Scotland took 7 points out of 9 to beat Wales 7-2 after winning 5 of their singles matches in the afternoon. Krystle Caithness brought the first point home in the afternoon after beating Tara Davies 6&5. Roseanne Niven, Kelsey MacDonald and Carly Booth all won their matches. Laura Jane Roberts and Katherine O'Connor won their matches for Wales to give them 2 ponints.In the Ireland and England match there were some tight matches in the afternoon as three matches were halved. But Florentyna Parker, Jodie Ewart and Rachel O'Connor won their matches to give an overall result of England 6 1/2, Ireland 2 1/2.Today Scotland takes on England and Wales takes on Ireland.
