Championships - Curtis Cup 2008
Volunteers
Volunteers
Volunteers will play a vital role in the success of the 2008 Curtis Cup Match.
The LGU will be enlisting the help of many volunteers and if you are interested in assisting, please email susan.simpson@lgu.org in the first instance.
Opportunities exist for;
SCOREBOARD OPERATORS: Display upcoming players’ scores in relation to par on thru boards on selected holes and within the Media Centre.
STANDARD BEARERS: Walk with players displaying names and scores in relation to par on a carry board.
MARSHALS: Enforce crowd control during play, ensuring players safe and easy access from hole to hole and signaling the gallery for quiet as players address the ball.
WALKING SCORERS: All positions are now filled
Volunteers must be available for all 3 match days and a practice day where appropriate.
Shifts may last 5 hours and you must be physically fit.
No payment will be given for duties. Volunteers are responsible for organising and meeting the costs of their own accommodation.
Places are limited and you may not be successful. After registering your interest, further information will be sent to you directly as it becomes available. The LGU thanks you for your patience in this process.
If you have previous volunteering experience, please detail this in your email.
