GB & I Team practises at Longmeadow, USA
Up early this morning, the GB & I team has now loosened off after a long journey to USA and played 18 holes over the fantastic course at Longmeadow Country Club. Arriving at the club this morning to a car park and houses bedecked with GB & I flags, the team was eager to work off the travel stiffness. It is exceptionally warm here and swollen feet and blisters have been the order of the day but the team has a week to harden up before the big match at Essex CC.Team Captain, Mary McKenna, is delighted with her team and looking forward to playing a match against Longmeadow on Friday. The club is extremely welcoming and if you are in the area, pop along and see our team in action.
