Curtis Cup planning well underway for historic match at Essex County Club
Plans are well underway for an exciting match in June at the historic home club of the Curtis sisters. The LGU is working closely with the committees of the Club and the USGA to ensure that those attending the match will have a wonderful week in Manchester by the Sea.The GB & I Team will be announced on Monday 26th April at 1400hrs. The team will then travel to the USA a week before the match to practice at another prestigious venue before travelling to Essex County Club.
The USA Team will be captained by Noreen Friel Mohler. The US team will be named at the end of April 2010.
Join our GB & I Team Supporters as we bid to bring the trophy back across the Atlantic but if you can't make it follow our progress on Twitter.
Mary McKenna, Tegwen Matthews and Susan Simpson will visit the club at the end of April as part of the preparation for this exciting match.
