Ireland win the 2008 Team Event.
Ireland narrowly won the 2008 Team Event at the Strokeplay Championship after Tara Delaney and Lisa Maguires fine final rounds of 69 and 72 respectivly.
Ireland's team of Lisa & Leona Maguire and Tara Delaney staged a superb comback to finally pip the Netherlands on countback to the 2008 title.
Wales finished in 3rd place a further four shots back.
The Team Award is staged annually in conjunction with the two qualifying rounds at the Ladies' British open Amateur Stroke Play Championship.
