Hannah Burke and Julie Yang win Ricoh Women's British Open Pre-Qualifying
Hannah Burke (Mid-Herts) and Julie Yang (Kings Acre) won the 2010 Ricoh Women's British Open PQ after superb four under par rounds of 68. Sahara Hassan also had an impressive round after she covered the back 9 in an incredible 31 strokes for a three under par 69, which included 7 birdies. Lucie Andre, Corisande Lee, Tara Davies, Charley Hull and three others also posted solid scores as they completed their rounds in one under par.Meon Valley's Tracey Boyes aced the 154 yard par 3 13th Hole using her 6 iron. According to spectators it was 'in all the way'. Congratulations Tracey!
Conditions were favorable for scoring with gentle showers and sunny spells throughout the day.
The top 25 & ties from PQ progress through to Final Qualifying which will take place at Hillside Golf Club on Monday 26th July.
