Competitors gather in St Andrews on eve of Grand Final of Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes.
Fifteen couples from all corners of the UK and Ireland have arrived at the Old Course Hotel, St Andrews, and tomorrow one of them will be awarded the coveted title of Peugeot LGU Coronation Foursomes Winners 2009 and a place in the Pro-Am of next year's Ricoh Women's British Open at Royal Birkkdale.Thousands of lady golfers competed at club level earlier in the year, with each club winner then progessing to an Area Final. Tomorrow sees the cumlination of a tournament that goes from strength to strength. Tonight all the competitors are relaxing in the luxurious surroundings of the Old Course Hotel, before tackling the Eden course tomorrow in the 18 hole Grand Final.
Tomorrow evening, a Celebration Dinner and prizegiving will be held in the hotel.
