Resignation of the Honorary Treasurer of the Ladies’ Golf Union

Resignation of the Honorary Treasurer of the Ladies’ Golf Union

With regret, the Ladies’ Golf Union has accepted the resignation of Jane Neville, the Honorary Treasurer. Unfortunately, Jane found it was impossible to commit the time necessary to the post of Honorary Treasurer while continuing with her full-time career. The Executive Council and management of the Ladies’ Golf Union wish Jane well in the future.

Jane’s resignation leaves a gap in the finance and governance functions in the Ladies’ Golf Union. The Executive Council has developed an interim solution to fulfil these functions and work towards a long-term solution.

A Governance and Finance Working Group (“GFWG”) has been formed to undertake the Treasurer’s functions. This consists of two Councillors (Jane Brown ACA and Shona Malcolm CA) and the former Treasurer (Pamela Malton CA (retired)).

It is anticipated that the GFWG will continue for the foreseeable future, pending the outcome of the LGU Review. In the meantime Shona Malcolm will act as the link between the GFWG and the Finance and General Purposes Committee.

Any future changes to these arrangements will be communicated to you as they arise.
