Following the transfer of responsibility for Medal Competitions to the National Organisations, and due to popular demand, the LGU decided to re-launch the September Medal prize in conjunction with our charity partner Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The specially commissioned “pink tee” Breakthrough Brooch has proved extremely popular. 

For a minimum donation of £5.00 (per club), your club may order a brooch for presentation to the player with the best nett score in your September Medal competition. 

We hope you will, through this initiative, give your support to what is a very worthwhile charity.  

A message from Breakthrough to those who have already ordered;

On behalf of Breakthrough Breast Cancer a big thank you to all the clubs who have donated money for the “Pink Tee” brooches. Your support means we can keep making a real difference to the lives of people affected by breast cancer. Together we can be the breakthrough and remove the fear of breast cancer for good.
